Whether you favour the convenience of a WiFi-enabled electric heater or the ritual and atmosphere of a traditional wood fired stove, every aspect of your sauna is carefully considered to suit your lifestyle, intended use and surroundings. From layout, materials and glazing to lighting, heating and interior finishes, each detail can be chosen by you.
Sustainability is an important consideration throughout our projects. By working with responsibly sourced timber and carefully selected materials, we aim to create saunas that are both environmentally conscious and built to stand the test of time.
Based in the South of England, we primarily serve Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and the surrounding counties, while facilitating selected projects across the UK.
Meet the Founders
Having been friends for nearly three decades, we have always shared an appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and exceptional spaces. Bringing together our different backgrounds and experiences, Löyly Bespoke Saunas was born from a desire to create beautiful saunas that are thoughtfully designed, carefully built and made to be enjoyed for years to come.
Lyle
Lyle has spent more than twenty years working in the carpentry industry. His skills have allowed him to work in some of the UK's most exceptional homes, where craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail are paramount.
Sauna building allows Lyle to showcase his craft. There is no hiding behind plaster, paint or filler. Every detail is on show; demanding precision planning, quality materials and careful execution.
A sauna is one of the few places where he feels that time slows down. Free from distractions, it gives the opportunity to think, reflect and simply be present.
Pete
Pete has a varied background, mainly in project managment and conservation. He also has a long standing interest in sustainability. He has always enjoyed working with his hands and has a real appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Having worked for one of the world's leading wellness retreats he has seen the benefits of sauna first hand.
Pete is excited, not only to build beautiful saunas but ensure every project is carefully planned and responsibly delivered.
